The National
Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) Orange County Annual Reports Contest is coming soon. CFAOC will again
team with NIRI to evaluate the annual reports of public companies. Each report
is evaluated holistically on the basis of investor communication and financial
transparency. Last year, over 30 excellent judges reviewed, scored and
critiqued over 40 companies. This year, we will again utilize the online system
for evaluating the annual reports, giving judges more flexibility and fun.
CFAOC members are invited to attend either one of the
following scheduled information sessions for the Annual Reports Contest judging
hosted by Roth Capital, LLC.
This is a great
chance to get involved and network with other CFAOC members and meet other
investment professionals! Pizza and
refreshments will be provided at the meeting. We will provide you
with detailed information on the simple online process voting process. Then you can take the annual reports with you
to evaluate their theme, design, visuals, cover, innovation and overall
performance at your convenience. This is an excellent opportunity to build
camaraderie with your fellow CFAOC members, become more familiar with local
publicly traded companies, and put your analytical skills to work!
